My Canon Eos R5 camera allows me to take double shots, so this photo consists of eight. A native oak tree in autumn colours stood nicely loose in the drift dunes in Boshuizerbergen nature reserve near Venray-Oostrum. I walked in a semi-circle around the tree, taking a picture each time after a few steps. I kept the trunk of the tree in the centre of the picture. This way, you get the atmosphere and essence of this tree in autumn tones well captured without everything being very sharp in focus. This style became popular because of Pep Ventosa, an artist who introduced this kind of photography. I really like it because it is dreamy and expresses a feeling. That is also the beauty of photography: a successful photograph is not a flat picture but a representation of an experience, of a feeling. I hope to have conveyed that in this image too!
