About ‘Atrani - Amalfi Coast’ by Thomas Bugdoll

The small town of Atrani lies between the sea and the high cliffs in the narrow valley of the Dragone, at the foot of the Civita-Monts and the Aureo-Monts, which separate it from Amalfi. Atrani is truly picturesque! Atrani is the smallest municipality in Europe. The town still looks like it did in the Middle Ages and is very well-kept. Here you will find narrow streets with vaults and arches, small squares and the typical "scalinatelle" (small staircases) as well as the small beach surrounded by the jumble of houses.
