About "Audacity or Naivety?"

These two men look lost: casually dressed as if for a cosy drink on the beach, they hike a very tricky route between the Pico do Areeiro and the Pico Ruivo over the peaks of Madeira's highest awe-inspiring rocky mountains...

Madeira's weather is extremely changeable, especially here. One moment it is cosy under a lovely sun despite the strong wind, within seconds clouds blow around you and it is freezing cold. On the way to the location of this photo in Madeira, I was delighted by the sight of the beautiful and impressive wild landscape. Once I arrived, I was shivering in a white haze and there was little to photograph as I really couldn't see my hand in front of my face.
When the cloud cover briefly blew open again, I saw both men in the distance and quickly took this photo. A few moments later, they had disappeared from view again. Could they have completed their trek?

Either these men are very tough and brave, or quite naive. Either way: it is a landscape photo with a story. Admire the imposing craggy clouds and rocks or let your mind wander about what's going on.

NB: this photo is best shown at a larger size than your screen: then you really experience the depth in the imposing cloudscape between Madeira's jagged rocks.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
