About "Azure Damselfly"

About the artwork

The azure damselfly is a small, very slender dragonfly with a maximum wingspan of 5 cm. The species is between 33 and 35 millimeters long. Like most species of the genus Coenagrion, the azure damselfly is difficult to identify. Characteristic is the horseshoe-shaped black spot on the second abdomen segment. The females occur in a dark and a light variant.The males have a lighter and more extensive blue than other damselflies. There is usually a U-shaped black mark on segment 2, which is not connected to the hind margin. The black pieces on segments 3, 4, and 5 are very short, all about one-fifth of the segment length. This makes the middle part of the abdomen appear very blue, with a regular pattern of black spots. Segment 6 is about half black, segment 7 is almost entirely black. Segments 8 and 9 are mostly blue. On the side of the abdomen, the black spots extend into a narrow stripe towards the leading edge of the segments. The shoulder stripes are normally developed.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
