The small village of Bagno Vignoni is known for its thermal baths.
Pictured is the Piazza delle Sorgenti with the Church of St John the Baptist.
This square in the centre of the village has a huge water basin almost 50 metres long. This is where the natural hot spring enters from the ground. Nowadays, you are no longer allowed to enter this basin but in the surrounding area there are still plenty of places where you can.
