The majestic double pagodas of Baisikou with an overview of the compound and the Helan Mountains as background. The two pagodas are the only remains of a Buddhist monastery erected during the Western Xia dynasty (1038 AD - 1227 AD) and destroyed during the invasion by the Mongolian armies of Genghis Khan.
