About ‘Bath's Bight tides’ by Geert Van Baelen

This photo shows the vast mudflats and salt marshes of the Bocht van Bath, a unique nature reserve in Zeeland on the edge of the Western Scheldt. During low tide, an impressive landscape of mud banks, gullies and reflecting water is created here, in which peace and space are central. The open horizon and soft light emphasise the dynamic character of this tidal area.

The Bay of Bath is known for its rich nature, unusual bird species and the interplay between sea and land. This area is a favourite spot for nature photography, landscape photography and walkers who want to experience the silence of Zeeland. The constantly changing structure of the mudflats makes every shot unique and shows how the tide shapes the landscape.

This photograph captures the strength and beauty of Zeeland's coastal landscape: pure, vast and timeless.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
