Beautiful waterfall in the Black Forest near the town of Simonswald. The Zweribach waterfall.
After a brisk walk with a climb, this piece of natural beauty can be admired.
To get the depth effect, I climbed to the bottom of the waterfall and photographed upwards with an ultra wide-angle lens. The long exposure time creates the dreamy flowing water. A challenge on the shaky rocks where there was no tripod to place. The late summer light on the foliage adds depth to the image. The bright green tones were preserved by using a polarisation filter.
The question is how long the tree will stay on top of the waterfall, as the water is now flowing through its roots. The hold is diminishing and the water is flowing faster and faster. When it falls, the waterfall will take on a different shape.
With this beautiful nature picture on your wall, you will bring a piece of serene peace into your home.
