The face of a beautiful woman is hidden behind the leaves of unfamiliar plants in a nighttime garden. The leaves caress her face, framing it and protecting it at the same time. The focus in this image is on the only visible eye, which in turn reflects the portrait of another woman (perhaps familiar from my butterfly portraits).
The image is in cool green and blue tones. Unlike my other works, which are unfortunately often compared to AI, this work was created as a vector graphic. Only the eyelashes are painted. This style will also characterize my subsequent works.
I hung the image in a bathroom so that the gaze of anyone entering immediately falls on this face. Very few were startled by it; some felt like they were being watched, but most felt very attracted to this beautiful face and approached to explore its secrets.
I leave it up to the viewer to interpret this gaze. Imagine who this woman is, where she comes from, why she is hiding and what her intention is.
