About ‘Belfry of Bruges’ by Jim Plaum

On an early morning in Bruges, a light mist hangs over the city. The streets are quiet, the sounds muffled. In the middle of the Market Square, the Belfry slowly rises out of the mist. The tower is partly hidden, as if hiding for a while before the new day.

The stones of the façade appear softer in the diffuse light, the sharp lines fading slightly in the humid air. The tower's spire almost disappears in the mist, making the top barely visible. Yet the silhouette remains powerful and recognisable, a familiar beacon in the heart of the city.

Along the cobblestones, a single passer-by walks, a warm coat pulled close to the body. A few pigeons scurry around, their wings flapping lightly in the silence. The cafes around the square are still closed, chairs piled up, windows fogged up inside.

The whole place feels peaceful, as if Bruges is still asleep for a while. The fog dampens light and sound, but enhances the atmosphere of calm and history. The Belfry stands there as always: imperturbable, impressive and witness to quiet mornings like this for centuries.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
