About "Between Sharpness and Fire"

About the artwork

Three desiccated cardamom balls lie still on a mirrored surface, their dull grey shapes sharp against the shiny reflection. Suddenly they ignite, flames rising brightly from the arid material. The fire, intense and unpredictable, envelops the cardamom balls in a glow of light, while the sharp spines and dried skin are suddenly gently distorted by the heat. What was once solid is transformed by the flames in an instant.

The mirror beneath the cardamom doubles this fleeting moment, reflecting the fire in a fracture of time. The contrasts are striking: the stagnant, ageing cardstock bulbs versus the momentary explosion of power and heat. What began as something seemingly unbreakable suddenly becomes soft and fleeting, recalling the transience of life and the power of change. The fire, sharp and ephemeral, leaves behind what it did not consume: a stillness that holds the promise of new transformations.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
