About ‘Between reeds and reflection’ by Filip D´hooghe

A walker makes their way through a tranquil landscape in which water, air and trees merge almost seamlessly. The wintry landscape is dominated by cool shades of blue and the threatening cloudy sky, lending the photograph a subdued, almost melancholic atmosphere. In the centre, the walker’s bright green coat provides an unexpectedly striking splash of colour. It is precisely this small human element that gives the vast landscape a story. His reflection appears clearly in the still water and seems to follow him like a second, silent companion. In the foreground, the reeds rise out of the water, creating extra depth and a natural frame. The bare trees on the opposite bank emphasise the wintry atmosphere and stand out sharply against the pale sky. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
