About the artwork
"Abstract black-and-white panorama of lines from nature" is a macro photo of the fluff of a dandelion . On the fluff of the dandelion are small droplets of water. When making this picture, I chose a shallow depth of field. Because the fluff in the background becomes more and more blurred and the fluff that is far away almost becomes grey, the image becomes a combination of very sharp fluff and vague abstract lines and planes with circles and balls. The drops also help to create this dreamy atmosphere, they reflect the light and this creates sparkles between the fluff of the dandelion.
The incidence of light (backlight) creates a simple image that resembles a line drawing.
