About ‘Bokeh red and orange’ by Stadspronk

When I delve into bokeh photography, I enter a world of artistic possibilities. It is amazing how a simple technique like creating blur in the background can add a whole new dimension to my photographs's.

I start by selecting my favourite lens with a wide aperture. Turning the aperture wide open creates a limited depth of field, keeping the subject in focus while the background blurs beautifully. It seems as if the world around the subject distorts and transforms into soft, shimmering points of light.

It is fascinating to see how bokeh puts the focus on my subject and brings the background to life with an enchanting glow. The circular flecks and streaks of light add a touch of magic to the composition, giving the photo a sense of depth and dimension.

Bokeh allows me to express my creative vision and convey emotion. It is as if I give the viewer a glimpse into my own dream world, where the subject shines amid an enchanting landscape of blur.

Exploring bokeh photography is an ongoing journey of experimentation and discovery. I experiment with different light sources, positions and subjects to create unique and captivating images. Each photograph is a new challenge, a chance to refine my skills and leave my artistic mark.

Bokeh photography for me is an outlet for creativity, a way to capture moments in a way that stimulates the imagination. It is a technique that inspires me to look differently, to find beauty in blur and to take my photography to new heights.

In the 1990s, I worked in photo labs and printed thousands of photos a year for photographers, journalists, real estate agents, artists, vacationers and hobbyists. Even then, the passion for the perfect picture was there to ensure the right print as the creator minimally intended.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
