Botanical Alchemy – Alcohol Ink Art

by Joke Gorter

Bring energy, warmth and a unique statement to your interior with this exclusive semi-abstract artwork. This piece has been created using fluid alcohol ink techniques, allowing the ink to form a fascinating botanical silhouette reminiscent of a majestic flower brimming with vitality.
The vibrant palette of fresh lime green and bright yellow, subtly combined with deep, dark veins at the centre and a warm, ochre-yellow background, creates an energetic and sunny spectacle on the wall. The fine details and upward movement mean this painting instantly brings dynamism and positivity to the room.
Interior styling tip
This contemporary artwork is perfect as a bold statement piece in a modern, botanical or, conversely, a creative and eclectic interior. It brings the outdoors in and serves as a beautiful splash of colour.
• Styling tip: Looks stunning against a contrasting dark wall (such as anthracite or deep forest green) or, conversely, in a light, minimalist space where the artwork can take centre stage. Pair it with furniture made from warm bamboo, rattan or black steel to create a trendy, botanical look.
• Material advice: For ultimate colour intensity and a sleek, modern finish, we recommend a print on HD metal or glossy acrylic glass (plexiglass). This spectacularly enhances the ‘ 'glow' ’ effect of the lime-green ink stains.
