The Boulevard of Flushing during blue hour, the longest boulevard in the Netherlands.
Because of the receded water a reflection of this skyline in the seawater left behind.
Located on the Westerschelde estuary, Vlissingen is a true port city. You can almost touch the ships passing by along the beach! If the water was calm just a moment ago, a gigantic ocean-going vessel on its way to Antwerp is now causing momentary waves. Because of its location, Vlissingen became increasingly important in the 17th century, Michiel de Ruyter gained name recognition and trade flourished.
When I get home from the office I like to take my camera out after dinner to photograph the night. This can be a normal night picture, but also a lightpaint picture.
Typical for my photos is the use of color, light and the starburst effect.
