Breathtaking views from Quriyat dam, which is also a popular destination with locals, who like to come and picnic in the park. As you can see, you can also explore the lake by boat or canoe.
It's a bit of a diversion but I found it absolutely worth it. Ideal for a stop on the way from Muscat to Sur.
