A night shot of the iconic lighthouse near Breskens beach in Zeeland, Netherlands.
I was drawn here in the hope of capturing the northern lights visible in Belgium and the Netherlands thanks to last month's violent solar storms (May 2024).
Unfortunately, the spectacle was not visible to the naked eye on the night I was there, unlike the night before, but you can still see a somewhat purple glow on the left of the photo.
In the background, you can see the light trails of a passing ship on the Westerschelde and the lights of the city of Flushing (Vlissingen).
