I prefer not to have people in my photos's. So I wait quietly until everyone is out of the picture, or I point my camera at a different vantage point like here.
For me, it is all about the details, the atmosphere, the perspective.
Once back, I start working on the image, Never drastic, but here I have chosen only to omit the blue tones. This gives the sky a surreal effect and accentuates the text on the facade and balcony, which was also what I was after when I shot the image.
This way, I draw the viewer into the image.
