The Bugatti Type 35 was a car built by Bugatti in 1924. The car was intended as a racing car and was also the car with which Bugatti became famous. The car had a 2.0 litre 8-cylinder in-line engine, with three valves per cylinder. The car reached 6000 rpm and produced 90 hp. There was also a faster version, the Type 35C with 128 hp. The normal version was the Type 35A and later came versions with a new engine, the 2.3 liter engine. Those versions were the 35B and the 35T, of which the 35T was the rarest. The car was a very successful car in races. The car won the Targa Florio in Sicily five times in a row (1925-1929) and in 1929 it won the Monaco Grand Prix.
