In the shade of tall trees, the forest decides to keep its own calendar. Not by numbers, but by mushrooms. In January, the year begins with bright velvet foot mushrooms that light up the snow like little lanterns. In spring, morels and cup fungi follow, decorating the forest floor with new shapes and colours. When summer arrives, porcini mushrooms and chanterelles appear, filling the air with the scent of warm earth. In autumn, trumpet chanterelles, cork mushrooms and tree fungi take over, painting golden, red and brown accents into the moss. Each month is a quiet chapter in this chronicle, captured in images so that no one forgets how rich a year in the forest can be.

Artistically, the calendar combines documentary precision with a deliberately designed atmosphere. The mushrooms take centre stage, framed by soft backgrounds that capture the light shining through the trees. Rich green tones, golden autumn colours and cool winter lights blend harmoniously, gently guiding the eye through the year. The result is a wall mural that not only informs, but also conveys a mood: when you look at this motif, you bring the changing seasons, the scent of moss and the soft crackling of the forest floor directly into your room – day after day, month after month.
