Castle De Cannenburch is a 16th-century castle and stands in the town of Vaassen in the province of Gelderland. The castle was built on the ruins of a medieval castle by the Gelderland Field Marshal Maarten van Rossum. He had the ruin rebuilt into a stately three-storey castle, introducing the Renaissance style to Gelderland. The castle stands on the edge of a watery park where the differences in height between the water features still make the last remaining mill turn.
