Antonio Joli (1700 - 1777) was an Italian painter. He painted mainly in Venice but also produced paintings in London for a number of years.
In his painting you are looking at now, you can see the river Thames in London in the background, with St. Paul's cathedral, the Tower of London and the Old London Bridge.
The foreground with the columns and human figures is fictitious. Such a painting is called a "capriccio" (a figuratively painted or etched, realistic-looking work of art usually depicting an imagined landscape or cityscape).
I used Photoshop to add a third dimension to the painting: modern photography.
Because of the combination of different styles, this artwork fits in many types of interiors, from classic to industrial.
