At the south entrance of the Grand Teton N.P. is the Chapel of the Transfiguration. A small wooden church from 1925 which looks like a log cabin. The church is still in use and every Sunday there is a service. The church is beautifully situated with the Grand Teton mountain range as a backdrop. Inside the church is quite plain but the view through the window behind the altar makes up for it. From this window you have a beautiful view of the entire Teton mountain range. So if you are in the Grand Teton N.P. don't miss this special place.
