While hiking through the central highlands of Madagascar, we came across these 2 boys. In the villages we passed through there were not many foreigners, so we were a real attraction for the children. These boys came to have a look when we passed by.

As you can see on this site my preference goes to landscapes, wildlife but also to the local population, mostly abroad but certainly also in our beautiful Netherlands. In recent years, several of my photos have won awards in both national and international photo competitions.
