The City of Arts and Sciences (Valencia) of Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias (Spanish) (City of Arts and Sciences) is a cultural-scientific complex in the Spanish city of Valencia.
The complex consists of seven buildings, usually identified by their Valencian name:
El Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia - opera house and performing arts center
L'Hemisfèric - IMAX cinema, planetarium and Laserium
L'Umbracle is a 320 meter long and 60 meter wide pedestrian promenade and botanical garden with many palm trees, native plants and work by local artists. The elevated boardwalk offers a view of the surrounding museum buildings. He also serves as access to the complex and introduces a large parking garage.
