"Cloud wax" is an airy and playful image with an illustrative character. We see a graceful dancer balancing on a cloud high in the sky. From a clothesline, she hangs two other clouds, from which raindrops fall. Thus rain suddenly takes on a new meaning: it seems to start raining as soon as the clouds are hung on the line after the washing.
The basis of the work is a photograph converted into a drawing in Photoshop. The clouds and details were also created digitally.
With a wink, "Wolkenwas" makes us look differently at something as obvious as rain. It invites us to look at the world with childlike wonder and reminds us how easy it is to see magic in the ordinary.
