We see a cobbled alley in Leuven, somewhere between the Naamsestraat and the Sheepstreet. Located near the Grand Beguinage of Leuven and Van Dale College.
It's fall, we notice the many fallen leaves on the ground.
I made a black and white edit to accentuate the typical cobbles. In addition, you get a lot of emphasis on the different textures present in the image: the uneven cobblestones, the bricks of the old walls, the natural feel of the leaves in a state of dissolution.
The slogan of Leuven is called 'Ages old, alive and kinking'. On this autumn photo the emphasis is mainly on the first part of the slogan.
