About "Cologne Cathedral by night"

About the artwork

The cathedral, the landmark of the city of Cologne, always presents itself from its most beautiful side! Even when night has long since fallen, the city lights still produce an expressive image! While the eye already perceives the scenery as dark night, the camera's sensor still sees a lot of colours and details. Above all, however, there is a beautiful colour contrast between the blue of the night sky and the different shades of the lights.
Fortunately, the cathedral is illuminated again, which makes it stand out particularly well.
The Hohenzollern Bridge on the right adds a few more light accents with its many floodlights. The lights reflected in the water of the Rhine lend the picture a calm atmosphere. The low amount of light available when the picture was taken resulted in a very long exposure time, which makes the water of the Rhine look silky - this also contributes to the aesthetics of the picture.
The picture was professionally photographed and is printed exactly according to your wishes with a great deal of expertise. A wonderful piece of Cologne will be added to your own four walls!

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
