About ‘Colorful Boats by the Sea’ by Steve Henderson

It's a perfect sunny day by the Adriatic Sea, on a secluded little beach near Polignano a Mare, Italy. Up the staircase to the left is a little free library box, an odd but pleasant sort of find on this day of wandering about.

The artwork, Colorful Boats by the Sea, invites you to take a stroll beyond the wide walkway at Polignano a Mare; eventually, you leave the stone walkway and work your way along narrow streets that lead to pathways that bring you to this beach.

And although there are lots of boats -- colorful boats covered by colorful tarps and fabric -- at the moment there don't appear to be a lot of people. As you climb about, exploring the nooks and crannies, the jumbled stair cases, the old buildings, and the boats themselves, you feel as if you have stepped into a place that hides a story. And you find a little rock upon which to sit, you stare out to sea, and you tell yourself what that story could be.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
