The background consists of soft, weathered grey tones reminiscent of paper or limestone, giving the whole a subtle textural feel. Over it lie transparent, organic shapes of leaves in warm yellow, gold and ochre. Between these light areas, deeper, rust-red leaves emerge, acting as visual anchors in the composition. The trees and branches are finely rendered, sometimes sharp, sometimes faded, as if appearing in and out of the mist. These transparent overlapping layers create a play of light, shadow and depth.

The warm colours exude comfort and security, while the weathered texture and soft transitions evoke a calm, almost poetic stillness. It is an image that encourages you to stand still, look and slowly wander through the different layers.
