I've been making compositions with soap/bubble blow and this photo is a very successful result of that. The process leading up to the final image is always a revelation, as it is impossible to tell in advance what form the suds will take. Often this only becomes clear when I start editing in an image editing program (in my case usually Adobe Lightroom). The manipulation of the image is an intensive and particularly joyful process.
I was inspired by an article by Laura van der Burgt about this technique. In that article she also explains about photographing frozen soap bubbles, a method that I want to explore further.
The multicolored nature of this photo makes me happy and I hope I can bring this feeling to others as well.
