While touring the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland, we came across this scene. The contrast of a yellow cottage in the light, with the threat of bad weather hanging over the lake in the form of dark clouds, was a paragon of what Ireland is all about. The contrasts in nature and landscape are mesmerizing. In doing so, the emptiness and vastness of the land is beautifully expressed in this photograph.
