South Georgia is one of David Attenborough's favourite places and for good reason; it is a fantastic island with unique nature and millions of penguins, fur seals and giant elephant seals.
But you can also see beautiful icebergs there. And these can be very large because they are often broken off from ice shelves's in the Weddell Sea.
When the sun sets early in the season, the sky can turn beautiful shades of purple, yellow and orange, and should you just pass a large iceberg, it makes for unique images.
