Colourful animal portrait: Bison

by Christian Ovís

Colourful Animal Portrait: Bison depicts a blue fantasy animal with large, curved horns and a long, golden-blonde forelock. The animal is looking straight ahead. The horns fan outwards and curl upwards at the tips. Small dark eyes are visible beneath the loose-hanging hair. A broad pink nose adds a warm accent to the blue face. Long, light-coloured hair frames the head and flows over the shoulders.

The portrait combines recognisable bovine shapes with striking fantasy colours. The coat changes from cream and peach to blue-grey and lilac. Fine lines of hair follow the curves of the forelock and the long mane. Soft shadows lend volume to the muzzle and horns. The turquoise background features light, curling lines around the top of the head. The almost symmetrical pose conveys a sense of calm, whilst the wild tufts of hair give the image a playful character.

This fantasy animal wall decoration is ideal for a child’s bedroom, a creative workspace or an interior with blue accents. Turquoise and cream combine well with light wood and neutral fabrics. The pink of the nose can complement small, warm-toned accessories. On a plain wall, the broad horns and long hair are given plenty of space. Up close, you can particularly appreciate the fine fur lines and subtle colour variations.
