No, it is not a newly discovered planet in a distant galaxy. It is an ordinary bubble photographed up close with a flash lamp above it. If you go and take a really close look at something as simple as a bubble at really close range with the right light, you will be amazed at the beautiful colours and movements in the surface. Nothing has been changed about the colours in this picture. All that has been adjusted is that around the bubble some spots and distracting elements have been removed in post-processing. Want to try it yourself? Lights off, spotlight on and blow bubbles! Or just hang this photo on your wall; plenty to see. Two seconds after taking this photo, the bubble burst and is gone forever. Luckily, we still have the photo!
