I created this artwork using digital techniques, based on a photograph I took myself. From a simple shot of flowers in their natural environment, I started experimenting with colour, texture and shape, digitally mimicking traditional watercolour techniques. By working layer by layer and subtly blending colours together, a vivid and dreamy image was created that captures the essence of nature without being literal.
The work shows an explosion of colour and energy, in which intense reds and purples blend with fresh greens, bright blues and warm orange accents. The loose brush strokes and fluid transitions create a sense of movement and life, as if the flowers could change and continue blooming at any moment. At the same time, the painting invites the viewer to pause and look at the beauty of the ephemeral and the fleeting - an ode to nature and its endless wealth of forms.
By intertwining photography and digital painting, I have tried to bridge the gap between reality and imagination, between what is and what can be.
