"Colourful square: Pink tulip opens the petals with turquoise - petrol" is a macro photo of a beautiful pink tulip I picked in a picking garden in North Holland. I cleaned this tulip and left it for a while, until the petals opened a little further.
Because of the depth of field I chose in this photo, the front part is sharp. The further back you look, the blurrier the tulip becomes. This creates a sense of depth in the photo while also creating a sense of calm. I think the colour combination of the turquoise -petrol with the pink gives a very nice contrast and reminds me of summer, warmth and cosiness.
A simple image that radiates cheerfulness!
This picture could, for example, beautifully hang as a wall decoration in the hall, bedroom, dining room or simply above the sofa in the living room!
