"Colours of the Course"
This dynamic digital composition captures an intense moment from the Tour de France, in which a group of riders compete side by side. Editing in Photoshop and Corel Painter X3 transforms the original photo into an expressive and almost impressionistic work of art, in which bright colours and brush-like textures enhance the energy of the race. The vibrant use of colour - with accents of yellow, red and blue - symbolises not only the physical strength of the riders, but also the beauty of the French landscape and the spectacle of the race. A spectator on the sidelines reminds us that this heroism is also a shared experience.
Advice for print:
For a painterly look with rich colours and tangible depth, a print on canvas or art frame is well suited - it highlights the brush strokes and gives the work a classic look.
If you want more intensity and modernity, opt for a print on acrylic glass, which lets the colours shine and makes the work extra vibrant, matching the movement and pace of the cycling peloton.
