About ‘Curaçao Untamed’ by Anouk

Curaçao is of course best known for its beautiful beaches, palm trees and incredibly blue water. But during our trip, I also really loved seeing and photographing the wilder side of the island.

What immediately caught my eye here was the contrast between the dark rocks and the bright blue sea. The water was anything but calm, with waves crashing against the coastline and creating all kinds of different shades of blue and turquoise around the rocks. Exactly the kind of view that makes me grab my camera straight away.

For me, this photo shows that Curaçao has so much more to offer than just its famous white beaches. I absolutely loved the combination of that clear Caribbean water with such a rugged, rocky coastline.
