A cut-out paper bird (great warbler, Acrocephalus arundinaceus) among tree branches. The cut-out edges are (intentionally) still clearly visible when looking more closely.
This image was created during my Photography studies at the Royal Academy of Art (The Hague), where I graduated Cum Laude in 2009.
This work has not been substantively modified in a photo editing programme. Some minor colour corrections have been made, but otherwise everything you see in this picture has really been there.
