About "Dance of water and light - rugged coast Biarritz-France"

About the artwork

There I was at Milady Beach, camera on tripod, waiting for that one moment. The waves roll on, smash on the rocks, and then... gone. Everything is constantly changing - the shape of the foam, the light on the water, the way the clouds move.
What hit me was that contrast. That brutal force of the sea throwing itself against the rocks, but at the same time that soft glow of the setting sun over it. Water that both destroys and enchants.
You feel small standing there. That Atlantic ocean that has been pounding against this Basque coast for so long, long before we were there, long after we are no longer there. And every moment is unique - this light, this wave, this position of the clouds.... in ten seconds everything will be different again.
I wanted to hold on to that. Not so much the place, but that sense of fleetingness. How nature is constantly in motion, how powerful and delicate at the same time.

A second later, this moment was over, gone in the endless dance of water and light.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
