Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

About ‘Dancing in the Dark’ by Rudi Boeckxstaens

With * 'Dancing in the Dark' *, I have sought to capture the energy and unpredictability of movement in the darkness. This is a digital abstract work, born out of a play on contrasts. I have worked with dramatic contrasts: the deep, almost black shades of purple and brown vie for space with explosive bursts of radiant white. It is as if a flash of light reveals a hidden, chaotic world. The central element is a dynamic, almost organic structure that reminds me of an abstract flower or butterfly, but also of unpredictable splashes of liquid. I wanted to enhance the sense of movement through thin lines and 'druppels' shooting out from the centre, as if the light were frozen at the moment of impact. The textures range from grainy and diffuse to razor-sharp and streamlined, emphasising the depth and intensity of the experience. It is not a physical canvas, but a digital creation in which I have sought to capture the texture and emotion of paint. RUBO
