Dante's View is a viewpoint in Death Valley, a valley in the United States. Dante's View is 1669 meters above sea level while nearby Badwater is 85.5 meters below sea level. From this most elevated point in the area you can see Mount Whitney in good weather conditions. The name is a reference to the Italian writer Dante Alighieri and his description of depth of hell in The Divine Comedy.
