About ‘De heide in geel’ by Karla Leeftink

Het is stil om me heen en het ziet er veelbelovend uit als ik de heide oploop; een laagje mist hangt rond de jeneverbes en andere bomen. Dat ziet er meestal bijzonder uit als de zon doorbreekt. Met de telelens probeer ik de mooiste stukjes te vangen, waar het licht het mooist is. De heide op de voorgrond kleurt zelfs helemaal geel mee…

She also likes the wide open Wadden Sea landscapes and rough Norwegian fjord landscapes. Standing under the stars she is in her element and impressed by creation. In a frozen puddle and on knots of trees she spontaneously sees abstract works of art…
