Landscape photo of Deadvlei in Namibia in Africa. This very famous place everyone has seen at one time or another. In the middle of the orange coloured desert of the Namib Naukluft Park, lies Sossusvlei of which this is a part.
Between the dunes is a large clearing where water once stood. The trees that grew there have been dead for hundreds of years now but do not decay because of the drought.
The bottom of the vlei is white with lime, the dunes are deep orange and the sky is bright blue.
In the foreground of the photo you can see a tree close by that covers the entire height of the photo and points up at an angle to the right. In the background you can see many more trees further away, which are therefore much smaller.
