This painting was created with acrylic paint and pen. The setting sun in the background envelops the deer looking curiously at those, who cast glances at him. The ragged edge on the right is a piece of forest, torn from a print of a photograph. Reality merges into a dream world with lots of colour.
My working method is always searching. Beforehand, I don't know where I will end up. Superimposing colours and partly removing them again produce a unique image. The black lines try to give the image a recognisable shape. But sometimes there are lines that go their own way. As a viewer, you decide what you see. And today you see something different from tomorrow.
Colours: yellow, white, moss green, orange, taupe, dark brown, blue, blue-purple, black.
