About "Desert ship against an ancient backdrop - Dromedary in Palmyra"

About the artwork

In the middle of the endless expanse of the Syrian desert and in front of the remains of ancient architecture stands a dromedary - serene, dignified, almost a little curious. It seems to be part of history itself, embedded in a setting that has survived for thousands of years. The desert city of Palmyra was once a thriving trading centre - and dromedaries, the one-humped relatives of camels, were the logistical backbone of this world. They transported goods, people and stories.

This picture is more than just a portrait of an animal. It combines nature, culture and time - and quietly tells of the deep connection between man, animal and landscape in this region. The warm sandy tone of the surroundings harmonises perfectly with the light-coloured fur of the dromedary. The ruins in the background seem like forgotten witnesses to a glorious past, while the animal is anchored in the here and now - alive, present, proud.

A motif that invites a smile, but is also touching. Ideal for people with wanderlust, desert romance or a penchant for the unusual. Anyone who says that history is dry as dust doesn't know this picture.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
