Horta, the charming capital of the island of Faial in the Azores, is a city full of history, maritime traditions, and breathtaking landscapes. One of the most iconic spots in Horta is Porto Pim bay, a picturesque cove that captivates locals and visitors alike with its serene beauty.

Located within walking distance from the centre of Horta, Porto Pim bay is surrounded by green hills and historical buildings. The bay's crystal-clear waters are perfect for a refreshing swim or a relaxing day at the beach. The old whaling factory, now a museum, is a reminder of the island's rich maritime history and offers insight into the traditional whaling that once played an important role in the local economy.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
