"Drops create an opening in the fluffy bulb" is a macro photo of a large fluffy bulb of a Tragopogon (In Dutch, this plant is also called Morgenster). Like a dandelion, a Morgenster belongs to the Composite family (Asteraceae). When the flower has finished flowering, it turns into a ball of fluff, just like a dandelion. Only in a Morning Star, the fluff balls are different. They have a kind of cobweb-like structure, in which water droplets stick nicely. In the photo you can see the droplets hanging on a few fluffy leaves. Because I chose a small depth-of-field when taking this photo, you only see a small part in focus. From there, everything gradually fades out in front and behind it. The colours are calm and natural; it feels like a rural atmosphere.
This work could, for example, hang beautifully as wall decoration in the bedroom, kitchen or just above the sofa! Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!
